I would have loved to see all three Aragon Pixies shows, but seeing as that's insanely cost-prohibitive, I settled for the last one. Judging by the reviews of the other shows (which were still good), it sounds like I picked the best night (aside from missing out on Dig for Fire and Planet of Sound).

The show was fantastic as expected. Actually, it exceeded expectations based on the bootlegs I'd listened to. Frank's screaming on Tame still has that scary roar after all these years. He really doesn't look like he has to try to belt it out. Joey really rocked out at the end of Gigantic. It was great to see him be the center of attention for once. There are a few cell-phone videos of the show up on YouTube for those interested in getting an idea of what the show was like.

I was happy to find they are selling CDs of all the Doolittle shows. It'd be a fortune to buy them all, so I'll forego my completionist tendencies and settle for a copy of my show. I'll be watching the mail eagerly for that (and my Nijmegen + SVN fngrs goodies).

Counting the Grand Duchy shows, I've been able to attend three Frank shows in the span on four months. Quite a lucky year! Maybe I can recommend a venue in Louisville so I don't have the do a six hour drive in the future.
